“…Funded by the New Zealand Government and administered by Manapou ki te Ao Education New Zealand, the scholarships enable the exchange of language, culture, skills and opportunities for Aotearoa New Zealand students in Asia and Latin America.
Executive Director of Global Engagement Chris Carey says these scholarships help enable our students to embark on a global experience and make an impact outside New Zealand.
“Massey is committed to preparing a new generation of global leaders. To do so we need to be able to provide our students with exposure to international perspectives and offer first-hand experience of other cultures. By offering scholarships that enable our students to go out into the world and experience such fantastic opportunities, we are delivering on our commitment to develop leaders of the future.”
The successful programmes include a four-week exchange to Colombia, providing 10 students with the opportunity to study Spanish. Run by the School of Humanities, Media and Creative Communication, the programme will address climate change through the lens of theatre as an intercultural communication mechanism…”
