Sally Rooney has insisted she does want her latest novel to be published in Hebrew but chose not to sell the translation rights to an Israeli publisher in order to show solidarity with the Palestinian people. The acclaimed\u00a0author found herself at the centre of an online storm after it was wrongly reported that she had refused to allow her new novel, Beautiful World, Where Are You\u00a0to be published in Hebrew.
