Lecturer with a specified function (m/f/d): Interpreting Russian-German

For our faculty’s Russian programme, we are looking for a lecturer with a specified function, with a focus on conference and specialized interpreting (Russian –> German).
YOUR TASKS:
In this position, you will be expected to:
offer courses for students with Russian as foreign or primary language in our current and future M.A. degree courses, in particular simultaneous and consecutive interpreting as well as specialised interpreting (Russian –> German)
conduct related examinations as well as correct and evaluate tests and examinations
preferably, be versatile across disciplines within the framework of future degree courses
participate in developing and drafting new course materials and syllabus modules
participate in the academic self-administration of the Russian department and the
facultyYOUR PROFILE:
Applicants must meet the recruitment requirements stipulated in the Higher Education Act of Rhineland-Palatinate (§ 58 HochSchG in conjunction with § 57 HochSchG) and must have
a successfully completed university translation studies degree in the field of conference interpreting with Russian as primary foreign language (AIIC proficiency level: ‘B’)
a doctorate appropriate to the position and its requirements
full-time work experience after graduation of at least 2.5 years
practical professional experience in translation in particular in conference and specialised interpreting
Native German, both written and spoken
excellent knowledge of Russian, both written and spoken
